I guess the window is clean
I woke up this morning to a very odd sound. I heard a pouding against my window. Since I had broken the blind in my attempts to put it down from my bed last night, I could see out of the window clearly. What I saw was a bird pounding against the window, attempting to get in. Apparently the window was so clean that the bird did not realize there was glass and tried to fly in a few times. It was seriously straight from a Windex commercial.

HA! I love it. Prob'ly scared you to death, though, huh? Poor birdy.
Oooh! I got a little creeped out when I read the title becuase I imagined some creepy, sketchy man trying to clean it while you were in there sleeping!
We found a dead bird on our sidewalk last week. It was totally and completely in one piece...as if it had done the same thing and just dropped dead right then and there from the force of impact. Very sad. Also very gross. It took Dave a bit to move it so I just kept giving it a wide berth and walking on the grass on the path to climb my stairs.
Ooh...Becca's comment reminded me of my bird mafia experience. Hope you've read that post or you're completely thinking I've lost my mind.
