A beautiful fall day
Today is the first day this year that I truly noticed Fall. It was so strikingly beautiful today. I take all of these wonderful beautiful back roads to the preschool that have trees hanging over them and little streams running next to them. It was just an amazing day. I'm sure Fall was beautiful before today, I just didn't really take the time to notice. I was pretty much in bed all weekend with Dave's lovely illness so maybe being out in the "real world" again made me appreciate it. Today two of my preschoolers (who stay for the afternoon extended day) and I took a walk around the church grounds. We made leaf piles and jumped in them and found a huge leaf the size of an adult's head. It was a lot of fun and the perfect day for a walk. This evening I met up with an old friend from my childhood. I have known her for probably 20 years but we hadn't seen each other in almost 3 years. It's great to reconnect with old friends. I hope everyone is having a lovely November.
